Thang Manh Hoang received the Engineer and M. Sc. degrees in the School of Electronics and Telecommunications from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), in 1998 and 2001, respectively. He received PhD degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering from Nagaoka University of Technology in 2007. He was a postdoctorial researcher at Nagaoka University of Technology. He has been a faculty member of Electronics and Telecommunications at HUST since 1998 and an associate professor of HUST since 2011. He was a visiting researcher to Vrije University Brussels, Belgium in 1999, to University of Klagenfurt, Austria in 2009, Bangor University, UK in 2012, and Polytech de Nantes, France in 2012, 2017. He was research fellow at Faculty of Information Sciences and Engineering, University of Canberra, Australia from June-2013 to May-2014. His research topics are concerned with the nonlinear science and its applications in engineering.
