I am a graduate from Bahria University, Islamabad. My previous MPhil research thesis title was “The Impact of Ownership Structure on Firm Performance: Evidence from Non-Financial Listed Firms of Pakistan” The research thesis was an endeavor to statistically examine the relationship between ownership structure like ownership concentration and owner identity on firm performance of non-financial listed firms of Pakistan with firm level control variables of size, age, liquidity, financial leverage and growth of firm.
In the pursuit of casual relationship between ownership structure and firm performance, annual reports of 65 non-financial listed firms of Pakistan over the period of five years (2008-2012) were used. Least Square Dummy Variable Model (LSDV) and random effect model followed by Hausman test have been employed to statistically determining the impact of ownership structure on firm performance. During the MPhil program I have also developed sound understanding of different qualitative & quantitative research techniques and research software like E-views, SPSS and N-Vivo. I have extensively used these skills and techniques in writing of term research papers.
I am currently working as Department Coordinator of Computer Science at SEECS-NUST. Furthermore, my postgraduate degree (M.Com) specialization was in finance primarily focused on financial management, corporate finance and financial statement analysis that are crucial from theoretical aspect.
