Marco Miozzo received his Ms. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Ferrara (Italy) in 2005. After graduated, he worked as a Research Engineer in wireless networking for the Consorzio Ferrara Ricerche (CFR) and for the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Padova, both in Italy. During these collaborations he was involved in the second phase of European Ambient Networks project. Currently he is involved in SWAP IAPP Marie Curie EU founded project, working on energy efficient protocols for wireless sensors networks, and in the development of an LTE module for the network simulator 3 (ns3) in the framework of the LENA project. Starting from 2013, he is also collaborating with the EU founded COMBO project, working on environmental sustainable HetNets. He is pursuing a PhD thesis at the department of Telematics Engineering of Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).
His main research interests are in: green wireless networking, LTE, wireless sensors networks and network simulation tools.
