Personal Information
Biography
Biologist,with a PhD degree at Edinburgh University, UK. Current position assenior researcher of Ecology at the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, II University of Naples, Italy. Main research focus are on C and N biogeochemical cycles in natural and managed terrestrial ecosystems of temperate and tropic areas, GHG fluxes, soil ecology. She has been PI for several international projects (SAVAFLUX INCO_DC, CARBOIUS Italia-USA, CARBOAFRICA, NITROEUROPE, Accent-biaflux, GHG-Europe, GHG-Africa) and national projects. She works as scientific consultant for the Italian Ministry of Environment and Italian Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry to support national quantification of GHG budgets, set management priorities in the field of GHG mitigation, develop country specific methodologies for C footprint quantification. She is a member of the Italian Society of Ecology.
