Dr Ratjen is the Division Chief of Paediatric Respiratory Medicine and Program Head of Translational Medicine, Research Institute at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He also serves as a Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. Dr Ratjen holds the H.E. Sellers Chair in Cystic Fibrosis and is Co-Director of the Cystic Fibrosis Centre at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Dr Ratjen has a longstanding interest in designing and conducting interventional studies in cystic fibrosis. In addition, his research program develops and validates novel outcome measures to capture and track lung disease. The overall aim is to bring novel therapies to clinical care of patients.
