I have a B.A. from Wayne State University and an M.A.L.S. degree from the University of Michigan. I served as a reference librarian at the UM Kellogg Eye Center and, in addition, during my tenure there served as a reference librarian on the journal Ophthalmology, the journal of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. After leaving the position at the Center and the journal I joined UM’s Taubman Health Sciences Library where I am the Informationist to the Departments of Human Genetics, Psychiatry, Molecular & Integrative Physiology, Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine, the UM Medical School Office of Research and the Office of Research & Special Projects. I am a member of the UM Grant Proposal Administrator Committee and the Medical School Grant Proposal Editors / Writers Group. I am Past Chair of the Research Section of the Medical Library Association, Past President of the Michigan Health Sciences Libraries Association, and am the current President of the Michigan Chapter of the Special Libraries Association.
