Biography

Shahin Heidari is a professor in the school of Architecture at the University of Tehran. Following his graduation from the University of Sheffield, UK in the year 2000, he returned to Iran where he continued his research in the field of energy saving and thermal comfort. Shahin’s publications include more than 80 journal papers and conference papers and 5 books. He is currently supervising 5 PhD students and 9 master's Students in his research group at the University of Tehran. 25 PhD students and more than 100 master's Students have graduated from Shahin’s research group since 2000. He is the recipient of Iran’s most outstanding researcher award in 2006 and was awarded the University of Tehran’s distinguished researcher award in the year 2014. Moreover, he was awarded as a top researcher in the field of Art and Architecture of country in the year 2020 by Ministry of Science and Technology.
