Biography
I am Associate Professor of Ancient Greek Philosophy and Head of the Department of Classical Philology at Vilnius University. My doctoral dissertation was defended at the University of Cambridge in 2019.
My research interests lie in political theory and various areas of ancient philosophy (cosmology, ethics, theology). I am currently working on Plato's economic epistemology, divinity of the Forms, and political rule in Hannah Arendt. My recent postdoctoral fellowship resulted in an award-winning monograph Traditional and Cosmic Gods in Later Plato and the Early Academy which was published by Cambridge University Press in 2023 (The Manfred Lautenschlaeger Award for Theological Promise 2025).
