Biography

Dr. Zhipeng Lu, LEED AP, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture and the Associate Director of the Center for Health Systems & Design (CHSD), Texas A&M University. He is an official member of the International Union of Architects-Public Health Group (UIA-PHG), representing the U.S.A., and the coordinator of the UIA-PHG Secretariat. Dr. Lu’s research interests include healthcare design, senior facilities, healthy community and healthy city, and Building Information Modeling. He teaches graduate and undergraduate lecture and design studio courses with focuses on Design for Health. Dr. Lu has broad connections in international communities of healthcare design professionals.
