Biography

Ho maturato buone capacità relazionali grazie alla quotidiana attività di ricerca che si svolge all’interno di un team attraverso un costante confronto e continui scambi di idee ed opinioni con gli altri membri del gruppo di lavoro. Anche la partecipazione attiva a numerosi seminari settimanali (data club, journal club, lab meeting, seminari con ospiti internazionali) ha favorito l’acquisizione e lo sviluppo di una buona abilità di adeguamento ad ambienti multiculturali, un discreto livello di flessibilità di fronte a situazioni nuove e buone capacità comunicative e di ascolto. Tecniche di citometria e cell sorting:, in particolare utilizzo del FACS Vantage e del FACS Aria III, con notevole abilità nella preparazione del materiale da analizzare, nella lettura dei campioni, nell’analisi dei dati. Tecniche di microscopia: utilizzo del microscopio ottico e a fluorescenza. Buona conoscnza del programma di acquisizione AxioVision Rel.4.8 ed in particolare dei moduli Multidimensional Aquisition, Flurescence Lite e AxioCamMRc5 Biologia molecolare: : estrazione di acidi nucleici (DNA, RNA) da tessuti, da leucociti isolati da sangue periferico (Ficoll, Buffy Coat e Lysing Solution per eritrociti) e da pellet di linee cellulari, PCR, tipizzazione HLA molecolare mediante utilizzo di metodiche di PCR-SSP, estrazione di proteine da tessuti e da cellule, Western Blot Biologia cellulare: coltura di linee cellulari primarie derivate da prelievi chirurgici di melanoma, sarcoma, di tumore del polmone, della mammella e dello stomaco e coltura di linee cellulari tumorali stabilizzate (CALU-1, MCF-7, A549, MKN, AGS, SKMEL2 et al.); immunofluorescenza e immunocitochimica. Isolamento e caratterizzazione delle cellule staminali tumorali nei tumori solidi mediante saggi di staminalità (formazione di sfere, side population e presenza di antigeni di staminalità come il CD133) e di tumorigenicità (soft agar e injection in tupi NOD\SCID). Tecniche di istologia: crioconservazione e sezionamento di tessuti umani e murini, colorazioni di criosezioni con Ematossilina-Eosina, immunoistochimica e immunofluorescenza su criosezioni di tessuti umani e murini.
