Biography

Mehmet Ergezer holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH. He is an Associate Professor of Computing and Data Science at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA, and is interested in embedded systems and computational intelligence. He has co-authored publications on artificial intelligence and computer science education and holds consumer electronics patents in the USA and Europe.

Along with technical competencies, Dr. Ergezer is also focused on increasing undergraduate students' intercultural competence and led a semester-long study abroad in Berlin, Germany, and held the leadership role in broadening participation in AI as the co-founder/co-chair for AAAI Undergraduate Consortium.
