Biography

Degree in Business Economics at Federico II University of Naples (1992). Ph.D in Business Management at Ca' Foscari University, Venice (1997). Visiting scholar at Ohio State University (1998).
Full Professor of of Business Management (sect, SECS-P/08) at Federico II University of Naples and previously appointed Associate Professor (2010) and Research Fellow of Business Management (2007) in the same University. She teaches Tourism Business Management, Strategic Management and Marketing Policies, Management of Cultural Heritage and Revenue Management at Federico II University of Naples. She made teaching and seminars at Luiss Guido Carli University, CISET of Venice, Sannio University and Luspio University.
Teaching and research activities as visiting Professor at Ceram Business School, Ravensburg – University of Cooperative Education, Ohio State University and Utah University.
Author of numerous publications in national and international academic journals such as Tourism Management, Mercati e competitività, Sinergie, International Journal of Quality and Service Sciences, International Journal of Leisure and Tourism Marketing, Corporate Ownership & Control, European Journal of Innovation Management.
Author of books published by Egea, CEDAM and Giappichelli as well as of chapters in books edited by Elgar and Mc Graw Hill. She has participated to national and international conferences such as Strategic Management Society Annual Meeting, Academy of Management Annual Meeting, Italian Academy of Management Annual Meeting, International Forum of Knowledge Asset Dynamic, International Conference on Tourism (ICOT), International Marketing Trends Conference, Forum on Marketing and Markets, AIDEA Annual Meeting and Sinergie Annual Meeting.
Her research is focused on strategic management and marketing and in particular resource-based theory, business networks and coopetition, dynamic capabilities, value creation and appropriation both intra-firm and inter-firm, innovative marketing in tourism and heritages.
She is responsible for the Erasmus Project as relationships promoter with many foreign universities including: Universidad Catolica de Avila (Spain), Université Lumière Lyon 2 (France), University of Derby (UK), Duale Hochschule Baden - Wurttemberg (Germany), Instituto Politecnico de Viana do Castelo (Portugal), Universidad de La Rioja (Spain).
