Biography
Tatiana Dourado holds a Ph.D. (2020) and a Master's degree (2013) from the Contemporary Communication and Culture Programme of the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. Currently, she is an associate researcher at LabCom - Communication and Arts, University of Beira Interior, Portugal, where she works as a postdoctoral researcher in the MediaTrust.Lab - Local Media Lab for Civic Trust and Literacy (PTDC/COM-JOR/3866/2020). She is an associate researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy and Director of Training and Literacy at the Instituto Democracia em Xeque, Brazil. During her Ph.D., she completed an internship at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon in 2017-2018, as part of the Sandwich Doctorate Abroad Programme of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel, Brazil. She is a collaborating professor in the Postgraduate Programme in Public Security, Justice and Citizenship at the Federal University of Bahia.
