Andrej Zwitter is Professor of Governance and Innovation and Dean of the University College Fryslân providing the BSc in Global Responsibility and Leadership at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. He is also the director of the Data Research Centre and a senior fellow at Canterbury Christ Church University. His research foci include Big Data ethics, state of emergency politics, as well as law and politics of humanitarian action. Dr. Zwitter has a PhD in International Law and Legal Philosophy. He is passionate about understanding how modern technology affects society and how it can contribute to solving global challenges.
