Biography

Amel Yessad, Ph.D., is an assistant professor at Sorbonne University (Paris, France). Her research topics are the learner and the user modeling to adapt learning paths and feedback in learning platforms and learning games. Particularly, she is interesting in adapting AI algorithms to optimise the sequencing of learning activities and the feedback decision.
She received her Ph.D. (2009) in Computer Science from the INRIA Sophia Antipolis center (France) and the University Badji Mokhtar (Algeria), with a thesis centered on the use of semantic Web technologies to adapt learning resources.
