Biography
My PhD research mainly focused on developing novel drug conjugates for cancer theranostics. One of the representative research was published in ACS NANO, where a triad microbubble was engineered for ultrasound and fluorescence imaging-guided combined therapy for colon cancer.(This work was highlighted on the website of Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology) In 2019, I joined an Immunoengineering lab at PME at UChicago, I started to work on cancer immunotherapy such as CART cell therapy using advanced molecular imaging techniques. I also developed a new nanomedicine termed as Nanotraps to inhibit SARS-CoV2 viral infection since the pandemic in 2020. Currently, I am developing mRNA-based Omicron-specific nano vaccines and mRNA based CAR-T cell therapy for cancer and fibrosis disease.
