Research interests – applying geochronology and radiogenic isotope tracing, field geology and geochemistry to resolve processes and time constrains in Earth history; deciphering cause-effect relationship in major geological events in Earth evolution; measuring geologic time precisely and accurately using U-Pb isotope system on accessory minerals (zircons, monazite, titanite, rutile, apatite); quantitative probabilistic modeling of stratigraphic age; resolving magmatic processes – how magma differentiates in the Earth crust, duration of magmatism and cooling history; resolving processes in ore deposits – duration and mechanism of ore formation.
