Biography

I have worked for 15 years as marine geologist at Ifremer (French National Institute for Ocean Science, Geo-Ocean Laboratory) where I did research in Carbonate Sedimentology and Paleoenvironments. My main research objective was to understand how carbonate banks, barrier reefs and atolls have evolved during the Neogene and the Quaternary, in the context of past climate and sea-level changes. I recently joined the Scientific Direction as Deputy Director.
