Dr. Martin-Nagle focuses her research and other activities on freshwater, with a specialty in groundwater. She has published a number of articles and given presentations in varied conferences and other venues. Her 2020 book, Governance of Offshore Freshwater Resources, was the first to address legal regimes that would apply to offshore aquifers and methane hydrates.
