Biography
Jorge Sanabria-Z is a researcher in Advanced Design Processes Research Group of the School of Architecture, Art and Design at TecnolĂłgico de Monterrey, where he is a faculty member of the Doctorate in Educational Innovation, and assistant professor. He is an adjunct professor at CĂ´te d'Azur University (France), and a member of Mexico's National System of Researchers (SNI), level 1. He holds a Ph.D. in Kansei Sciences (Affective Engineering) from the University of Tsukuba, Japan, where he researched creativity using biometric devices, and subsequently completed a postdoctorate at the University of Guadalajara, where he developed the Gradual Immersion Method. His main line of research is the development of complex thinking and 21st-century competencies in non-formal learning spaces, based on technocreative methodologies, while his present field of research is citizen science.
