Biography

Bruno Neri was born in 1956 and received his "Laurea" degree "cum laude" from the University of Pisa in 1980. In 1983 he joined the Department of Information Engineering of the same University, where he is full Professor of Electronics since 2000. In recent years his research activity has addressed the design of radio-frequency integrated circuits for mobile communications and for biomedical applications. Starting from 2002 to 2010 he has been Director of Department of Information Engineering of the University of Pisa. He has been Technical Consultant in the lawsuit for the shipwreck of Costa Concordia cruise ship and presently he is Technical Consultant for the fire of Norman Atlantic ferry and technical consultant in defense of consumers in criminal cases for the dieselgate scandal.
Bruno Neri is co-author of more than 150 papers published in peer-reviewed Journals and Proceedings of International Conferences.
