Biography

Selwyn Stanley has been a social work academic for more than three decades and has taught for a considerable period of time in India before moving to the UK. He is currently Senior Lecturer in Social Work at Edge Hill University with research interests in Mental health, Substance misuse, Informal caregiving, Quality of life, Social Work education and practice and has published extensively in these areas. He is also editor of the book titled ‘Contemporary Social Problems in the UK’ published by Routledge.
