Biography

Dr. David E. Acuña-Ureta is Assistant Professor with the Department of Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Chile. He received a double PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham, UK, and from Universidad de Chile, Chile. His research interests include theoretical foundations of event prognosis, real-time condition monitoring, and risk-aware control systems.
