Biography
Dr. Md. Hamidur Rahman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Education and Sports Science, Faculty of Health Science, at Jashore University of Science and Technology, Jashore, Bangladesh. He has been serving as a faculty member since 2013.
He earned his B.S.S. and M.S.S. degrees in Anthropology from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, a P.G.D. in Sports Training from BKSP (NU), Bangladesh, and both an M.P.Ed. and a Ph.D. in Physical Education and Sports Science from Visva-Bharati University and the University of Delhi, India.
Dr. Rahman’s research interests span various areas within sports science and physical education, with a particular focus on strength and conditioning, physical fitness, and exercise performance. His work explores performance analysis, grip strength, and hand anthropometry, including the study of the 2D:4D digit ratio and its implications. Additionally, he investigates ball game performance, emphasizing skill enhancement. He is also actively involved in evaluating plagiarism detection software to promote academic integrity in research.
