Biography

Attended the Medical School at the University Hospital of Parma/IT (1992-1998) and entered the Residency program in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the same University (1998-2002). While completing the training in Radiology he started a period of training & research in Advanced Cardio-Vascular Imaging at the Radiology Department of the Erasmus Medical Center University in Rotterdam/NL (2000-2002). Started his clinical post-residency experience at the Radiology Department of the Erasmus Medical Center University in Rotterdam (2002-2005) while completing a PhD in Cardiovascular Imaging (thesis defense 2005). In 2006 moved to Italy as Chief of Non Invasive Cardiovascular Imaging in the Department of Radiology of the University Hospital of Parma until 2011. Between 2011 and 2015 worked as Consultant for several Italian Hospitals and Diagnostic centers mainly focusing on general diagnostic radiology and cardiovascular imaging. 2010 - certified for the function of Chief of Department of Radiology for the Italian NHS. 2012 - certified for the function of Associate Professor for the Italian University. 2013 - certified for the function of Full Professor for the Italian University. 2014-2016 - President of the Italian College of Cardiac Radiology (SIRM - Italian Society of Radiology). 2012/today - Associate Professor of Radiology at Erasmus Medical Center University in Rotterdam/NL. 2015/2017 - Cardiovascular Radiologist and Associate Professor of Radiology at the Montréal Heart Institute/Université de Montréal/CA. 2015/2017 - Director CT Core Lab at the Montréal Heart Institute, Montréal/CA. 2017/today - Director Cardiovascular Imaging Service - SDN IRCCS - Naples/IT 2017/today - Director Cardiovascular Imaging Service - Affidea - Padua-Monselice/IT 2017/today - Director Department of Radiology - Villa Berica Hospital - Vicenza/IT
