Biography
Dynhora Ramírez is a distinguished academic with a solid and diverse background in both academic and professional fields. Originally from Hidalgo del Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico. Dynhora began her academic training at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Systems Engineering, receiving recognition for the best performance in her cohort during her master's studies. She then continued her academic development at the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juárez, successfully completing her Doctorate in Technology. During the first semester of her doctorate, she won first place for the best project poster presentation.
From 2004 until September 2008, Dr. Dynhora Ramírez worked as a Videoconferencing Technician in the General Coordination of Information Technologies at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. During this period, she was responsible for videoconferencing, audioconferencing, teleconferencing, and digital services, as well as troubleshooting ISDN and IP lines and videoconferencing equipment (Aethra and Polycom). She was also responsible for the administration and monitoring of Webex services.
Since 2006, Dr. Dynhora Ramírez has been a Full-Time Professor (PTC) at the Technological University of Chihuahua (UTCH). She has taught courses in all the university's degree programs but has specialized in the Information Technologies (IT) degree since 2009, serving as a specialist lecturer and academic tutor for students in this field. Currently, she teaches courses focused on information analysis, storage, pattern identification, data manipulation, and project management. She has participated in the development of lesson plans, educational materials, and manuals for classes and specialized courses, and has served as coordinator of internships for Engineering and Higher Technical University students. Additionally, she advises on internship and academic projects.
Dynhora has held leadership roles such as Secretary and President of the Informatics Academy and Secretary of the Research Academy at UTCH. She has coordinated major international academic events, serving as the local logistics coordinator for national and international research events in 2013 and 2016. In 2013, she served as Head of the Strategic Programs Department, managing financial and human resources, designing the department's operational plan, and overseeing the accreditation of UTCH's educational programs, ISO certifications, a special program for vulnerable students, and serving as staff for the rector's office. She has been a member of the accreditation, tutoring, and software and informatics committees for the IT degree program, as well as Secretary of the engineering committee in the Professional Development Program for Higher Education (PEIDES) in 2017. Currently, she is an active member and representative of the Academic Body "Information Security Technologies" and president of the Ethics Committee.
Dr. Dynhora Ramírez has made significant contributions to scientific literature with publications in prestigious international journals, focusing on advanced decision-making and process optimization through artificial intelligence, with a special emphasis on swarm intelligence in multicriteria environments. Among her notable publications is a 2022 paper titled "PSO, an Evolutionary Algorithm Based on Swarm Intelligence as a Decision-Making Strategy," which has been cited 34 times. Additionally, she is a reviewer and evaluator for national and international journals and conferences, reflecting her commitment to academic and research excellence.
In 2021, Dynhora won first place in the student presentation category at the International Congress of Innovation and Sustainability (ICONIS). She also won first place in project presentation at the 5th Student Congress of Artificial Intelligence Applied to Engineering and Technology (CEIAAIT).
Regarding her experience as a reviewer and evaluator, Dr. Dynhora Ramírez has participated in various important conferences and evaluations. She has been a reviewer at the XIV National Congress of Educational Research (San Luis Potosí) in 2017 and 2019, at the Superior Normal School "Professor José E. Medrano R." in 2021 and 2022, and at the Mexican Council of Educational Research, A.C. in 2019 and 2021. Additionally, she has evaluated online applications for the Desirable Profile Recognition and/or Support Call in 2019 and 2020. She has also participated as a proposal and content reviewer for the Digital Business Bachelor's program of the State Council for Higher Education Planning (COEPES) in 2019. Furthermore, she has been a technical evaluator of the Computer Science Engineering, Informatics, and Administrative Informatics programs for the Secretariat of Education, Culture, and Sports of the State of Chihuahua in 2014. Additionally, she has evaluated projects at the Francisco de Paula Santander University in Cúcuta, Colombia, in 2022.
