Biography

I'm bacharel in Physiotherapy at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (2016). I have Pilates Training Course at Voll Pilates (2016). During my graduation in Physiotherapy, I was monitor in the discipline of practice in cardioventilatory function (September/November 2015).
Furthermore, I started in research as Scientific Initiation student in Neurochemistry and Psychopharmacology Laboratory at PUCRS using the zebrafish as an animal model (2014-2016).
After, I did Masters degree and Ph.D., concluded in 2019 and 2023, respectively, in Health Sciences at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS).
In addition, I have Specialization in Sports Physiotherapy and Trauma-Orthopedic from the University of Caxias do Sul.
Nowadays, I'm performing Post Doctoral Fellow in Health Sciences at University of Far South of Santa Catarina
I have experience in areas of toxicology, neurochemistry and neuropharmacology, working mainly on topics such as purinergic and dopaminergic signaling, with a focus on the action of drugs in the central nervous system, and models of neurodegenerative diseases, mainly Huntington's Disease using the zebrafish and rodent as an animal model.
My interest in research are Huntington's Disease and its mechanisms, pharmacological and non-pharmacological as physical exercise.strategies for neurodegenerative disease, specifically Huntingon's disease.
