Biography

Godwin Asaamoning is currently a junior researcher at the Cognitive and People-centric Computing (COPELABS) Research and Development unit, and a PhD student at the New Media and Pervasive Systems programme of University Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, working on Wireless Networking for Autonomous Mobile Smart Cameras. He received his MSc in Information Technology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 2014, and Bachelor of Education in Information Technology in 2011 from University of Education, Winneba, both in Ghana. Before leaving for his PhD studies, he was Head of Information Technology unit and a Lecturer at Bolgatanga Technical University in Ghana. He previously was a tutor at the Bagabaga College of Education in Tamale, and Sandema Senior High Technical School. His research interests encompass, Internet of Things; Self-organized Wireless Networks; Multimedia; Quality of Experience. He is an IEEE student member.
