Biography
Ramazan Safa, 30 years old Turkish Cypriot. A phd student at Adam Mickiewicz University in the department of Political Sciences. Currently lives in Poznan / Poland. As bachelor, studied International Relations at Selçuk University in Turkey. The last year of the study was held in Poland at Adam Mickiewicz University. Graduated in 2016. for the masters degree, studied Political science and international relation and has worked on peace and conflict resolution studies. he worked as a human rights journalist at Kıbrıs Media Group for 4.5 years.
In 2017, took part in a European Volunteer Service program in Romania as an assistant English teacher at a middle school. At the same time, coordinated local and international projects in Romania.
Also, had been volunteering at ‘Community Volunteer Foundation (TOG)’ between 2012-2016. Carried out over 20 projects based on human rights, elderly, discriminated minorities, woman, children, criminalized children. At Tog, He has been working not only as a volunteer but also as a trainer. For 3 years He has implemented various pieces of training with youngsters about human rights, peace, conflict, discrimination, and democracy.
Besides, Ramazan has worked with refugees at the International Middle East Peace Research Center(IMPR), as a university representative.
