Working with linear and non-linear optical spectroscopy of materials since 2000. Ultra-short pulses are used to investigate resonant and non-resonant non-linear absorption spectra and ultrafast dynamics of different materials, including: glasses, semiconductors and organics. The main experimental techniques used are degenerate Z-Scan and using supercontinuous pulses of white light, both applied to observe the excited state and multiphoton absorption spectra. Ultrafast dynamics are studied using ultrafast spectroscopy lines with femtosecond resolution.
