Biography

Akash has completed his undergrad and postgrad degrees in Microbiology from Adamas University, Kolkata. He received the gold medal as the University topper during his undergrad and postgrad degrees. Currently, as of 2022, he is working as a PhD student at the Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine Centre at Yenepoya Research Centre, Mangalore. His work focuses on reversing the skeletal muscle damage induced by hyperglycaemic conditions by the anti-inflammatory actions of bioactive lipids. He is also an R and Python coding enthusiast.
