Antti Räisänen



Antti V. Räisänen is professor at Aalto University, Espoo, Finland since 1987. He has been a Visiting Scientist or Professor with the Five College Radio Astronomy Observatory and the Univ. of Massachusetts Amherst, Chalmers Univ. of Technology, Univ. of California Berkeley, Jet Propulsion Laboratory and California Institute of Technology, Paris Observatory and Univ. Paris 6, and Univ. Carlos III of Madrid. He supervises research in mm-wave components, antennas, receivers, measurements, etc., at Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, Dept. of Electronics and Nanoengineering and MilliLab - ESA External Laboratory. He has authored or co-authored over 500 scientific papers and six books and edited "Semiconductor THz Technology: From Components to Systems", eds. G. Carpintero, L.E. Garcia Munoz, S. Preu, H. Hartnagel, and A.V. Räisänen. He is Fellow of IEEE since 1994 and Fellow of AMTA since 2008. He was the recipient of the AMTA Distinguished Achievement Award in 2009.
