My research work is devoted to the observation and study of quantum phenomena at the microscopic scale. My PhD work in Cavity QED aimed to implement real-time control protocol for the electromagnetic field in a cavity, via interaction with Rydberg atoms. In my post-doctoral research, I reverse the roles, and use light to trap atoms at the focus of a microscope. The goal of my current work is to realise strongly-correlated phases of fermions in a quantum gas microscope.
