Biography

Aslıhan Nasıf Dondurur is a research assistant at the Institute of Marine Sciences and Technology at Dokuz Eylül University, Turkey. She has been working on single and multichannel seismic data acquisition on the research vessel RV K. Piri Reis, and other research vessels since 2013. She is primarily interested in academically, the geomorphology of submarine structures, gas hydrate structures, land-related submarine faultings, debris flows, debris falls, and turbiditic currents under the sea. She attended several research and investigation projects, both scientific and private, along with the private oil companies and research institutions, which included offshore seismic data acquisition and processing applications for several years. Generally, she uses seismic programs such as Eiva/NaviPac, NTRS, HydroStar for data collecting, Landmark/Promax, and Caraibes for data processing, IHS/Kingdom Suite, Global Mapper, etc. for data interpreting.
