Biography

Dr. Eskandari holds a Ph.D. in Food Safety from Shiraz University, Iran, with his thesis focusing on antibiotic resistance in bacteria related to food safety. He also conducted research on E. coli detection using real-time PCR during his time as a research assistant at the University of Guelph, Canada. His academic foundation is robust, with expertise in food safety and microbiology, making him highly qualified in his field.
Soheyl has held numerous impactful administrative roles, including his current positions as an Associate Professor at Food & Drug Administration. He has been a lead auditor for ISO 22000 and a technical manager of ISO 17025 standards, showcasing his leadership in ensuring food safety and quality control at both academic and official levels.
Dr. Eskandari has an impressive teaching portfolio, spanning undergraduate to doctoral courses. These include subjects like Medical Microbiology, Food Safety, General Microbiology and Parasitology, and Food Safety Standards, taught at prestigious institutions such as Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Yazd University of Medical Sciences, Iran University of Medical Sciences and Islamic Azad University.
