Graduated from Jeddah King Abdulaziz a University Faculty of Medicine with second honor degree; then joined the local Arab Board Program of Residency training in Internal Medicine at King Saud University & King Khalid University Hospital in Riyadh for 4 years. During the residency training, I obtained the membership & fellowship of Royal college of Physicians of Edinburgh. Following residency training, I joined adult fellowship training program in King Faisal specialist hospital& research center for 2 years. I was appointed as a consultant internist/ infectious diseases in February 1998 where I worked in King Saud Medical City for 2 years. In April 2000, I joined Prince Sultan Military Medical City (PSMMC) where I founded the section of Infectious Diseases within the department of Medicine, I served as a consultant & Head of ID from 2000-2009. Within PSMMC, I also served as Head of a infectious Diseases & Infection Control unit in Prince Sultan Cardiac Center for one year. In Sep 2011, I joined the department of Medicine at King Fahad Medical City& was appointed as a Head, section of infectious diseases in November 2011 until Oct 2015. In June 2012, I got an academic title of Assistant Professor of Medicine in Faculty of Medicine at KFMC, King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences, Riyadh, KSA. In July 2014, I was appointed as Assistant Dean, female affairs in the faculty of Medicine of King Fahad Medical City. On Dec 2015 until present, I assumed the position of Medical Director of Main Hospital at King Fahad Medical City.
