Biography

Experienced bridge engineer and professor of structural engineering with a demonstrated history of working in the Civil Engineering industry. Served for 9 years as bridge engineering expert and head of structural design unit at Gulf Engineering House (Amman regional office). Auditing design information, preparing tender documents, developing proposals, and leading the structural design team. Hands-on experience in carrying out the detailed design of highway bridges, underpasses, and other infrastructures. 19 years of academic experience as an educator and researcher in structural and earthquake engineering. Teaching graduate and undergraduate courses. Supervised and mentored graduate students toward receiving their graduate degrees. Vital education, and professional skills in Highway Bridge Design, Seismic Design, AutoCAD, SAP2000, CSI-Bridge, and LEAP Software Package. Professional knowledge and use of ACI-318, AASHTO LFD & LRFD, UBC, IBC, ASCE-7, and MOMRA.
