Biography

Full Professor. Professor at the University of Málaga since 1989. Doctoral Theses, Ph. Dr., since 1992. Expert in Program Evaluation and Environmental Education. Member of the research group "Methods and resources for educational research and innovation" (HUM -369), which has been responsible for several times. Author (until 2017) of 100 publications (12 books, 44 chapters and 44 journals). 20 Doctoral Theses Director. In teaching, He teaches in grades of Pedagogy and Social Education, and several official masters’ degree. He is Main Coordinator in a Joint Masters degree in Environmental Education. He has participated in several projects of Educational Innovation for teacher improvement. From 1995 to 1998 he coordinated the plan of Teacher Training at UMA as Deputy Director of the Institute of Education Sciences. He was Director - Coordinator of CAP between 1999 & 2001. He has coordinated and taught several courses in teacher education at the University of Málaga and other like Salamanca, Zaragoza, Oviedo, Lleida, Burgos, Santiago, La Coruna, Extremadura, Madrid Polytechnic... He has conducted research in several universities in Spain, Venezuela, Peru, Mexico, Chile and Argentina. He has led and participated in several R & D projects funded by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (AECID) and the regional administration (projects of excellence).
