Biography

Enoch Zenzile serves as a lecturer in the Department of Safety and Security Management at Tshwane University of Technology, where he received Doctor of Policing degree. He started his career path in the erstwhile University of Transkei (Unitra), which is currently known to be Walter Sisulu University. In 2000, he graduated Bachelor of Arts majoring with Criminology and Public Administration. In 2002 he was conferred Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology. In further pursuit of his career endeavours, he was conferred with the Master of Arts in Criminal Justice, at University of Zululand in 2008. His research interests focuses in the crime prevention, juvenile delinquency, victimology, and corrections. Furthermore, his major directions of current work relate to correctional services administration, management, and criminology. He is also active in the supervision of Masters and PhD students. He has presented research papers in seminars, local and international conferences. He has also published research articles in accredited journals, in South Africa and abroad. He is currently in a quest of the establishment of Traditional Leaders Crime Prevention Centres in the OR Tambo District Municipality.
