Master degree in Biological Sciences, PhD in Environmental Engineering, Post-doctorate fellowships (University of Venice) in marine coastal areas management (macroalgae and zooplankton ecology). Current position: researcher at the CNR-Institute of Ecosystem Study (Italy).
Expertise: Freshwater pollution (eutrophication, radioactive depositions, trace metals, thermal discharges) and lake restoration (hypolimentic oxygenation, biomanipulation of the trophic chain), Long term zooplankton dynamics, Invasion dynamics and ecosystem impacts, Population dynamics and accumulation of stabile and radioactive elements in freshwater mussels, Assessment of molecular (proteomic) and functional biodiversity of aquatic communities.
