Biography

I am an Aerospace Engineer graduated for the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain) in 2013, with a specialization in Aerodynamics. Currently, I hold a position as Assistant Professor (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the University Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (Spain), where I teach different courses of the Aerospace Engineering degrees.

During the academic year 2013-14 I coursed a Research Master in Fluid Dynamics at the Von Karman Institute in Belgium. I worked in experimental research for the Environmental and Applied Fluid Dynamics Department.
In February 2015 I started my working career in the as a Project Engineer at the Catalonia Institute for Energy Research (IREC). During 6 months, I took part in the EU project RenewIT about integration of Renewable Energies in Data Centres.
From February 2016 until November 2019 I worked as a PhD researcher at the University of Florence (Italy), developing my thesis "Wind tunnel testing of small vertical-axis wind turbines for urban areas". This study was developed in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit of Brussels and the Von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (Belgium). It was funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions, as part of the ITN AEOLUS4FUTURE.
