I am the Business Librarian at American University in Washington, DC. In 2016, I completed my PhD in the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My IMLS-funded fellowship, ELIME-21, focused on developing library education in the Middle East and North Africa. I lived and worked in Egypt for three years, as the Coordinator of Instruction at The American University in Cairo. My time there inspired my interest in the region. My research interests include academic integrity, information literacy in the Arab world, library services for international students, and leadership in library and information science.
