Biography

Graduated in Chemistry from the State University of Londrina (1992), Master's in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (1996) and PhD in Chemistry (Inorganic Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (2000). He is currently an Associate Professor at the State University of the Midwest. He has experience in Chemistry, with emphasis on Physical Inorganic Chemistry, working mainly on the following topics: Clay Minerals, Colloidal Nickel, Colloidal Cobalt, Mixed Materials, Synthetic Inorganic Pigments, Characterization, Electrochemical Behavior, Pigments and Colorimetry.

He served as a member of the Advisory Committee of the Araucária Foundation Area (CAA-Química, 2005-2008). Director of Graduate Studies at UNICENTRO in 2007. Coordinated the Graduate Program in Chemistry at UNICENTRO (Masters and Doctorates) from its implementation in 2006 to 2010. Head of Department (2011-2012). Coordinated an infrastructure project for the acquisition of multi-user equipment for the consolidation and strengthening of the Graduate Programs at UNICENTRO. He was awarded 3 ABRAFATI Paint Science Awards. He supervised 24 TCC, 21 Master's dissertations and 14 Doctoral theses.
