Biography

I'm a biologist specialized in animal behavior and welfare, with a MSc and a PhD in Zoology by investigating choices, preferences, and motivations of fish species. I'm also a specialist in scientific journalism. I'm a team member of Fish Ethology and Welfare Group (FEG) and a manager at Instituto GilsonVolpato de Educação Científica (IGVEC). I also mantain a blog about animal behavior and welfare (ConsCIÊNCIA Animal) and work as an independent researcher and scientific consultant.
