°1973, Master in Mathematics (University of Ghent, 1995) with Erasmus stay at Università la Sapienza, Rome, Italy (1994/1995), Master in History of Art (Catholic University of Leuven, 2020), Ph D in History (University of Ghent, 2024), Ph D in Art History (Catholic University of Leuven, 2024)
My research interests are focused on 15th century art, more specifically Early Netherlandish panel painting and Italian Renaissance art, and of course, the interaction between those two. I have a preference for object-based and fact-based methodologies like material research, archival research and the study of linear perspective.
