Biography

Marcos Hiller is a PhD Candidate and a Master's degree in Communication and Consumption Practices from ESPM. During his Master's, he was a scholarship student responsible for the digital communication process of the program, and also worked as a scholarship researcher at ESPM MediaLab. Currently, as a PhD student, he holds a partial institutional scholarship from ESPM and works in the program's digital communication team as well. Hiller was awarded a scholarship granted by a Brazilian government agency to fund my doctoral research during a stage in the Netherlands at Erasmus Rotterdam University, where studied labor precarization and Uberization. He also serves as a guest lecturer at schools such as ESPM, FIA-USP, FGV Management, and Senac/SC. His curriculum includes extension courses at Santa Fé University (New Mexico/USA) and Universidad Andres Bello (Chile). Hiller is currently a partner at HILLER BRANDING, a consultancy that specializes in branding, research, and semiotic studies for clients such as Ambev, Bauducco, Sodexo, Pirelli, Accor, Unimed, Aché, among others. He has over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, where he held positions such as Marketing Manager at BankBoston and Communication Coordinator at Grupo Santander Brasil. Hiller has a degree in Marketing Administration from ESPM, a postgraduate degree in Service Marketing from FAAP, and an MBA in Brand Management (Branding) from Anhembi Morumbi University.
