Matteo Poli graduates at the Politecnico di Milano in 1997. After working with the Office for Metropolitan Architecture - Rem Koolhaas from 1998 to 2001 and West 8 - Adriaan Geuze in 1997, funds his office 99IC AMD, winning several national and international competitions and working on private commissions until 2005.
Until 2007 works on survey bikes adapted to long distance traveling with a focus on sound in landscape, with CicliMA.
In 2008 funds ARGOT ou La Maison Mobile – AOUMM to follow a 600.000 sm masterplan in Bovisa; recently AOUMM has been invited to the XIV Venice Biennale and to Expo with Save the Children Pavilion.
He is teaching Landscape Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan and has been lecturing in several Universities in Europe and in the USA, publishing books and articles on landscape, architecture and urban design.
From 2004 to 2007 he has been editor for Domus and until 2014 special correspondent for Abitare.
