Biography
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1975. From the outset of my academic journey, I have been profoundly captivated by international relations and economics—disciplines that are instrumental in deciphering the complexities of our globalised world. I hold a degree in International Relations from the Instituto Universitario de la Policía Federal Argentina (IUPFA) and subsequently specialised in Economics and Business with Asia Pacific and India at the Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (UNTREF), where I also earned a Master’s in International Trade Relations.
Presently, I am pursuing a PhD in International Relations at the Instituto de Relaciones Internacionales of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (IRI-UNLP), with a particular focus on the United Kingdom’s role within the international system. This subject has become the cornerstone of my academic research, wherein I examine how national identity shapes foreign policy, particularly in the context of Brexit. In recognition of my contributions in this field, I was recently admitted as a member of the British International Studies Association (BISA), based in Birmingham. This esteemed affiliation has conceeded me the privilege of engaging with distinguished scholars and contributing to critical discussions on the UK’s global influence.
In addition to my research, I have the honour of serving as a lecturer at the Universidad Nacional de Avellaneda (UNDAV), within the Department of Social Sciences, and at Universidad Austral, within the Faculty of Economic Sciences. My objective is to instil in my students a rigorous analytical approach and a profound appreciation of international dynamics, fostering critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
Throughout my career, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to scholarly excellence and the meticulous study of international affairs. I firmly believe that a nuanced understanding of global relations is essential for navigating the intricacies of our interconnected and ever-evolving world. My dedication to academia and teaching reflects my aspiration to contribute meaningfully to the field while equipping future professionals with the insight and expertise necessary to interpret and address contemporary global challenges.
