Biography
I'm a passionate and driven Post Doctoral Associate at SUNY Upstate Medical University, New York, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of bioengineering research to advance healthcare solutions. Throughout my academic journey, I've honed my expertise in synthesizing innovative scaffolds aimed at providing neuronal cells with essential biological, mechanical, electrical, and topographical inputs simultaneously. My doctoral research focused on developing carbon nanofillers reinforced, anisotropic, electrically conductive, biodegradable, and biofortified polymeric scaffolds for neural tissue regeneration, earning recognition with the prestigious SBAOI Best Ph.D. Thesis Award.
With a solid foundation in bioengineering, I bring a unique blend of academic rigor and real-world applicability to my work. My research interests span a wide range of areas within bioengineering, from tissue engineering to biomaterials and beyond. I'm deeply committed to fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the scientific community, firmly believing in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration to tackle complex challenges and drive meaningful progress. As such, I'm always eager to connect with fellow researchers, industry professionals, and thought leaders who share my passion for advancing the frontiers of bioengineering.
Looking ahead, I aspire to lead bioengineering-based projects focused on developing cutting-edge medical devices to treat a variety of human diseases. Beyond my professional pursuits, I'm a self-trained photographer and an ardent hiker, having trekked through the majestic mountains of the Himalayan range in India. These experiences not only provide balance to my life but also inspire creativity and fresh perspectives that I bring to my research.
I firmly believe in the importance of paying it forward and enjoy engaging in conversations about diverse life experiences.
