Biography
Kaltham Abdulwahid Mohammad Noor is a healthcare professional in diagnostic imaging based in Dubai, UAE. With over two decades of clinical experience as the Deputy Superintendent at Dubai Health Authority's Radiology Department since 2002, she led the department to become the first government radiology facility in the UAE to achieve ACR accreditation. Her clinical expertise focuses on diagnostic imaging and mammography.
More recently, she has embarked on an academic research journey, currently pursuing her PhD in Diagnostic Imaging at the National University of Malaysia (UKM). Her emerging research portfolio focuses on advancing mammography practices and radiation safety protocols, with particular emphasis on establishing diagnostic reference levels for mammography in Dubai and developing innovative approaches to radiation dose optimization.
While her extensive clinical experience forms the foundation of her expertise, her recent transition into academic research has already yielded significant contributions through publications in respected journals and presentations at prestigious international conferences including the European Congress of Radiology and International Society of Radiographers.
As an active member of multiple professional organizations including the Emirates Radiology Society and the European Society of Radiology, she bridges the gap between clinical practice and research while working to enhance healthcare standards in the UAE and beyond.
